Christkindlmarket is held in the Daley Plaza from the Friday after Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve. There are a lot of vendors with German craft items, food (Brats, Wienerschnitzel, Streudel), drink (Gluhwein, Cider) and music. The Festival Tent was cozy and warm last night (despite the cold rain and wind outside). The band plays well-known German classics like Edelweiss, various drinking toasts, and polkas like Roll out the Barrel. They also play lesser known German classics like Feliz Navidad and La Cucaracha ;)
