The Grand Entrance

This is the entrance to the South Shore Cultural Center. It's right at the southern end of the Lakefront Bike Path so it's a nice rest stop before heading back north on a bike trip.

Ready for Summer

We were checking out the nature preserve at the South Shore Cultural Center on Sunday. The lifeguard was walking the beach but his boat was ready just in case. It looks warm, right? Well, actually it was pretty warm in the South Shore neighborhood. Definitely T-Shirt and shorts weather. However, by the time we got into the downtown area - just about 10 miles away as the crow flies - it was in the 60s. Definitely sweater and jeans weather.
