The Garfield Park Conservatory has what they think is the world's largest Double Coconut Palm growing under glass. They grew it from seed, which weighs 50 pounds, in 1959 -- making this plant 50 years old this year. The Double Coconut Palm is only found in nature in the Seychelle Islands, off the coast of southern Africa.
