I don't need a calendar to tell me that summer has hit its peak and we're moving into meteorological Autumn. This sunrise looks very different than the peak summer sunrises we've had. Not sure why the prism showed up in the picture - help, anybody? - but left it in because I didn't want to crop out the Chicago Harbor Light and the gold tipped clouds
Magnificent! I'm sure glad I found your site!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I am glad you enjoy it. I have fun doing it.
ReplyDeleteI like this photo, prism and all. It get the same effect whenever I shoot into the sun.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you didn't crop it because it adds just the right touch. What a beautiful sight!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture. It is definitely starting to feel like fall. I've so missed the changing of the seasons, living in Texas for so long. I'm more than a little giddy about it.
ReplyDeleteI never see sunrises because I'm too lazy and the sun come out from the hills here. This is a very impressive one. The prisms usually show up every time you shot against the sun, simply more or less visible. You did right leaving everything as it was: it's a good effect and the Harbor Light gives perspective to the image.
