Going ... Going ... Going ... Gone

Carl Sandburg wrote

"The fog comes
on little cat feet.
It sits looking
over the harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on."

Yesterday, however,

The fog came in
like a stampede.
It pounced on the lakefront
smothered the buildings
and then moved on.

  1. Very dramatic sequence. So perfect with Sandburg's sentiment.

  3. What a fabulous seies! I've seen this many times and always enjoyed watching it creep in from the lake. Many times I couldn't see the building across the street from me and that was a mere few feet away.

  4. Often wondered what it would be like living in such a building.

  5. Great shots! Fog has something mystical, while it are just clouds really.
